Various errors with Backup, Restore or Exiting the program. Previous topic Next topic

When Backing up or Restoring league files, the following errors may result:

·Library Not Registered

·Access Violation

·Interface Not Supported

·Class not Registered

·Unspecified Error

These are the more common errors received, but other symptoms may result depending on the Windows operating environment. As such, the following steps should be performed for any issues involving Backup and/or Restore.

Since BTM-2013 can be configured to Backup the tournament when it is closed, these problems may occur when exiting the program.

BTM uses a common library to compress the league files that several of our products (and other companies) use.

This error can occur, but not be limited to, the following causes:

·The installation or update to products that use this library will cause Windows to point to an older version of the library.

·The installation may not be properly done as an administrator or was done logged in under another user account

To resolve the issue, you should be able to re-install the program using the same Program Installer utilized when the program (or latest update) was installed.  If the InstallShield Maintenance screen appears with the option to Modify, Repair or Remove, select the Repair option. It is recommended that you download and install the current version of BTM-2013 from our web site.

Alternatively, the following steps can be used to resolve this issue:

Note:  You must close the BTM-2013 program first.
