Why Does CDE Offer a Free Upgrade Promotion?

Many software companies offer a free upgrade if you buy a program shortly before a new version comes out, typically within 30 days. This is to make sure you don’t end up paying again right after purchasing. At CDE, we feel it's only fair to extend a similar policy to our customers.
We decided to offer an even more generous upgrade window for our league software, allowing purchases made between June 1st and August 31st to receive the upgrade for free when it releases in late August. For example, if you bought BLS-2024 on July 4th, 2024, you would get the upgrade to BLS-2025 for free.
This free upgrade window is designed to:
  1. Help centers that get hardware upgrades during this time to avoid extra costs.
  2. Allow new league secretaries to purchase and get familiar with the software before the new version comes out, without needing to pay for an upgrade shortly after.
Our tournament products also have a free upgrade window, though the timeframe may vary due to a different release schedule. This approach helps make the transition smoother and more affordable for our customers.
