Installing MBD-2022 fails with message "Newer version already installed"

When installing the MBD-2022 and you have a previous MBD, the older MBD must be uninstalled first. Uninstalling the program will leave the MBD data in place.

  1. Press the Windows key and R key on your keyboard at the same time to open the run command windows.
  2. Enter CONTROL PANEL and press OK
  3. Select Programs
  4. Select Programs and Features
  5. Select the MBD that is installed
  6. Select the CHANGE option to bring up the installer
  7. Click Next
  8. Select REMOVE
  9. Follow the rest of the prompts.
  10. Restart the computer after completing steps
  11. Install MBD-2022 after computer restarts
  12. Restart computer after installation completes.

Feedback

Even after uninstalling MBD2021, I get an error message saying an older version of MBD exists when trying to install MBD2022. Cannot upgrade.
