When installing update a message regarding newer version is already installed appears

Products > BLS > BLS-2021 > Installation
If you receive a message that "A newer version of this application is already installed on this computer. If you wish to install this version, please uninstall the newer version first. Click OK to exit the wizard", then you will need to do the following to apply the update:
  1. Go to the control panel and go to Programs and Features
  2. Select the program and click CHANGE
  3. Select Uninstall
  4. By keeping the checkboxes, the data and settings and registrations should remain.  It's suggested to make sure your league/tournament data be backed up before continuing as a precaution.
  5. Continue to uninstall.
  6. Run the installer from our website to install the program with the newest version
