Big 'S' appears on recap sheets or error indicating fonts are corrupt

When printing Recap Sheets, a big 'S' may appear in the upper right corner and/or the Win/Loss boxes will not be displayed correctly. In addition, there may also be errors when opening the BLS program. This is typically caused by missing or corrupt fonts.

Occasionally, font files may become corrupt or do not properly install or get registered into your Windows environment.

To resolve this issue, it is recommended to re-install BLS-2017 by downloading the current version from our web site at  If the current Program Version is the same as the one being installed, the InstallShield Maintenance screen will appear with the option to Modify, Repair or Remove.  Select the Repair option. If the Program Version being re-installed is newer than the current one, the InstallShield Wizard will upgrade the current installation similar to when the program was first installed.
Note: If the computer running BLS-2017 is not connected to the Internet, the program can be re-installed from the original installation media.

As an alternative, or if the above procedure does not work, try the following:

1.Disable any anti-virus software.

2.Uninstall the BLS-2017 software using the Add/Remove Programs from Control Panel in Windows.
