Major Problem! CloseImportFile
Problem reported by Connie K Moore - 8/10/2025 at 9:38 AM

Different error message.  Cannot seem to begin a new thread

I have BLS 2025 vers 37.06.01.  I started my new season.  I updated the Certification Number and clicked the 'Print Form' button and received the following messages:
1 Major Problem!  CloseImportFile: A buffer based proxy cannot re-opened! This call is not meaningful.
2 Major Problem! OpenImportBuffer: Error reading file!
3 Range check error.

Prior to this version, I was not getting this error.  I know because I started another League earlier this week.

Any ideas.

The performance of 37.05.16 is good.  I'm not experiencing any of the sluggishness in my original post however... when I go to print my local association awards form, I get a "CloseImportFile: A buffer based proxy cannot re-opened! This call is not meaningful!" error (see attached image) and it fails to generate the PDF file.

Thanks,

Try 37.06.02 update posted over the weekend to see if resolves the ImportBuffer issue.

Thank you for correcting the ImportBuffer error on the latest release.

Lance - I was in the main community page and not in a thread when I attempted to begin
a new thread.  And, yes, I am a member on the help community, just don't post often.

Thanks Connie.  No idea why, from the main screen, you couldn't do Create a new thread.  We've seen other new threads.   We will investigate to see if something changed from the system.
