Final standings
Question asked by Dennis Madden - March 26, 2014 at 11:58 AM
Answered
Using 26.05.03 and have 4 weeks left in league.
We have 2 16 week seasons and on the 33 week have an overall rolloff.
The total for both halves are merged and we have one final position round.
The two half winners bowl for 1st and everyone else end where ever the are over all.
The problem is many times the one with the most wins isn't 1st.  How can I move them up with out fudging points?

You can, right after you bowl week 32, modify how you display team standings by adding to the report style the points item "Year-to-date Won" to display the total points won by each team for the entire season. Let us know if you need assistance configuring that.

In the Split Season tab of Rules, there is a switch at the bottom for "Team Standings Determination" and it's likely set to "Current Split" but you can change it to "Entire Season". That should set up this final "Position Round" to order all teams by their total season points rather than the second half.

Leave it to "Current Split" until after you print your standings for week 32. Change it to "Entire Season" before you Advance to week 33 before printing recaps, but review your schedule and recaps pairings before printing to make sure they get paired correctly.

On the RESULTS screen you can manually alter the order of the standings.
It is a feature in for 5 or 10 years now specifically to deal with things like this.
More information is in the manual and HELP.

Thanks Pat.  I think I tried it last year but screwed it up so fudged the wins to get there.  We will see if I got any smarter this year.
