WBA showing up in league rules
Problem reported by Jeffrey Riley - September 8, 2014 at 8:10 AM
Not A Problem
Hello all,

When I print or preview my league rules WBA is showing up under Sanction/Team Fees.  I have looked everywhere in the program and I cannot find where I have anything but USBC selected.

All my best,
Jeff

Is this a men-only league? If so, you will need to, in your league rules (Setup > Rules > General Rules tab) scroll down the first screen as there are more settings than can fit on the screen. There is a setting "Type of bowlers" and if it's a men's league, "Adult league - all men" instead of the default "Adult/Youth league". You don't say that your league is all men or mixed, or whether it is indeed mixed and you have a merged local association.

Please also give a version number of BLS-2015 (27.0#.##) with your post, but before posting, check for updates (in Help menu) as some issues have been addressed as well since the initial software release.

Hello,

This is an adult mixed league.  The version number is 27.02.09.

Part of my above reply was to check for updates, which are now in the 27.03.0# range. Please update BLS to the newest version and re-check.

WBA is part of the USBC. If your local & state associations are both merged then you shouldn't be seeing this. So check that you have your Association information set correctly.

Open your league then open the menu Certify/Association/Local Association Fees and click on the USBC tab. Make sure you have the "Merged/Not Merged" switches set correctly.

Got that you all very much.  The merge did the trick.

BLS 27.3.7

Our local association is merged but the state is not.

However, almost all of the women bowler opt not to join the womens state association.

When I print the bowler certification report, these ladies are listed twice. Once under the BA section and again under the WBA section, even though they did not pay the WBA fee.

Just odd.
