How to Turn Off Automatic Update Checks

If you don’t want the software to check for updates on its own, here’s how to turn that off:

1. Open the program.

2. Click on the Help menu at the top.

3. Select Configure Updates.

4. Look for the option that says Check for updates automatically and uncheck or turn it off.

5. Close the window or save your changes.

That’s it! The program will stop checking for updates by itself. You can still check for updates manually whenever you want.
