"Version of the Database is Newer Than This Program" – What It Means and How to Fix It

If you see the error "Version of the database is newer than this program" when opening the MBD Manager, it means the MBD program isn’t up to date.

This usually happens if you installed an update to BLS-2025 before installing or updating the MBD-2025. The database was upgraded by BLS, but the MBD Manager hasn’t been updated yet, so now it can’t read it.

Here’s how to fix it:

1. Go to the CDE Software website:
   https://www.cdesoftware.com/download-league-software/

2. Click on the BLS-2025 tab.

3. Download and install the MBD-2025 installer.

This will update the MBD Manager so it matches the version of the database created by BLS-2025. Once installed, everything should open and run correctly again.
