Does the Master Bowler Database get backed up when I back up BLS?

Nope — the MBD data is not included when you back up your BLS league files.

BLS and the Master Bowler Database (also called MBD) are two different parts of the software. That means when you use the backup feature in BLS, it only saves your league data — not anything stored in MBD.

If you're using the MBD to track bowler or other info, it’s really important to back up that data too. To do this, just open the MBD Manager and use the backup option found there. It’s quick and easy, and it helps make sure you don’t lose anything if your computer crashes or something goes wrong.

We suggest backing up your MBD data from time to time — especially before big updates or at the end of a season — just to be safe.
