How to Upload League Standings to a Website Hosted by BPAA Web Services Using BLS-2025

Step 1: Obtain Required Information from BPAA Web Services

• User Name: (e.g., mycenter.com)
• Password: (e.g., XSP1283*)
• Host Address: (e.g., mycenter.com)
• Upload Path: (e.g., /portals/0/standings)

Step 2: Set Up BLS for BPAA Web Services Upload

1. Open BLS-2025:
   • Open the league you want to upload.
2. Configure Web Uploads for BPAA Web Services:
   • Go to SETUP > INTERNET > Web Uploads.
   • Select the BPAA Webservices tab.
   • Select YES to enable the league to upload to BPAA Web Services.
3. Enter Credentials:
   • Enter the Username in the User Name field.
   • Enter the Password in the Password field.
   • Enter the Host Address in the Host Address field.
   • Enter the Upload Path in the Upload Path field.
4. Test Settings:
   • Click TEST SETTINGS AND CONNECTION to verify that the information entered is correct.
   • Click CLOSE.

Step 3: Upload the League Each Week

When Internet is Available

1. Process Scores:
   • Process the scores for the week.
2. Verify Standing Sheets:
   • Make sure the standings are accurate.
3. Upload the League to BPAA Web Services:
   • Go to Weekly > Finalize > Upload League.
   • Click UPLOAD TO BPAA Web Services.

Troubleshooting

1. Verify Settings:
   • Ensure that the settings entered into BLS match the information provided by BPAA.
   • Double-check that the User Name, Password, Host Address, and Upload Path are entered exactly as provided.
   • Password is case-sensitive—ensure that uppercase and lowercase letters are correctly entered.
2. Verify Port and Other Settings:
   • Port Number: Ensure it is set to 21 unless a different port number is provided by BPAA.
   • Passive Transfer: Set to YES.
   • SFTP: Set to NO.
   • SSL FTP Mode: Set to DISABLE.
3. Test Connection Using an FTP Program:
   • Download FileZilla FTP Client from https://filezilla-project.org/download.php?type=client.
   • Start FileZilla and enter the host, username, and password.
   • Click QuickConnect.
   • Check the log for errors (e.g., "Response: 530 User cannot log in.") to determine if there's an issue with the credentials or server information.
   • If errors persist, contact BPAA Web Services to confirm if your credentials have been changed.
