How to Handle Dropping a Team, Making the League Uneven in BLS-2025

Method A: Continue with Points Left by the Dropped Team

1. Remove Players from the Dropped Team:
   • Remove all players from the team that is dropping.
2. Rename the Team to BYE:
   • Rename the dropped team to BYE.
   • This method keeps the points earned by the dropped team and continues the league with a BYE team placeholder.

Method B: Replace Dropped Team with a New BYE Team (Starting with Zero Wins/Losses)

1. Go to the Week Prior to the Team Becoming a BYE:
   • Navigate to the week before the team is set to drop.
2. Delete Future Weeks Data:
   • Click Utilities > League > Delete Future Weeks Data.
   • This will remove all scores and data for weeks beyond the current week, ensuring the old team does not appear in the future.
3. Advance to the Next Week:
   • Advance to the next week of play.
4. Remove the Dropped Team:
   • Go to Utilities > Teams > Remove Teams.
   • Select the team that will be dropping and click on the Delete Team button.
   • If only one team is marked for deletion, that team will be replaced with a BYE team.
5. BYE Team Added:
   • The BYE team will replace the dropped team.
   • The BYE team will start with zero wins and losses.
