How to Fix Mismatched Lane Assignments in Recaps or Standings in BLS-2025

If the lane assignments on recap sheets, standing sheets, or automatic scoring exports do not match what is configured in BLS-2025, you can follow these steps to correct the issue:

Steps to Correct Lane Assignments

  1. Open the League in BLS-2025.
  2. Go to Setup > League > Lane Assignments.
  3. Modify the First Pair of Lanes:
    • Click on the first pair used at the top of the Lane Assignments grid.
    • Change the first pair to 1-2 (or 3-4 if the current assignment is already 1-2).
    • Indicate that this change should be effective for this week and future weeks.
  4. Close Lane Assignments and Preview Recaps:
    • Close the Lane Assignments screen.
    • Go to Weekly > Prepare > Recaps > Print > Preview to preview the recaps.
    • Ensure they show starting on lanes 1-2.
  5. Change Back to Correct Starting Pair:
    • Repeat steps 2-4, changing the lane assignments back to the correct starting pair for your league.
  6. Preview Recaps Again:
    • Close the Lane Assignments.
    • Go to Weekly > Prepare > Recaps > Print > Preview again to verify that the recaps now reflect the correct lane assignments.
This process helps refresh the lane assignment settings and ensures that all generated reports match the intended lane assignments.
