How to Use Random Lane Assignments in BLS-2025

The Pro and AutoScoring editions of BLS-2025 include a random lane assignment feature. This feature allows you to create a lane assignment schedule that is different from the standard USBC/CTF schedule, providing flexibility for leagues that want their own customized schedule.
Here’s how to set up random lane assignments:

Steps to Set Up Random Lane Assignments

  1. Open BLS-2025 and then Open the League.
  2. Go to Setup > League > Lane Assignments.
  3. Select the Other tab.
  4. Click on Generate New Key and then click Randomize Lanes.
  5. Click OK to apply the random lane assignments.

Important Notes

  • The random lane assignments feature tries to distribute the teams fairly.
  • This feature supports a maximum of 98 teams.
