How to Fix Team Standings Not Reflecting Match Points Lost When No Scores Are Entered

If your team standings do not reflect match points lost when no scores are entered, this can cause teams to appear as if they have bowled fewer games than the rest of the league. Here's how to handle this situation:
  1. Forfeit Due to Minimum Lineup Not Met:
    • When a team does not have enough players, they forfeit, and team points are lost. These losses will show in the Losses column on the standing sheet.
  2. Issue with Individual Match Point Leagues:
    • In individual match point leagues, if scores are not entered, the match points do not get reflected properly, causing inaccuracies in the standings.
  3. Workaround: Mark Bowlers as Absent:
    • Mark the individual bowlers as absent in the score entry screen.
    • This will allow the team to still forfeit, but the match point losses will now be included and correctly displayed on the standing sheet.
  4. If Team Makes Up the Session Later:
    • If the team makes up the session in a later week, remove the absentee scores before entering the make-up scores to ensure accurate records.
This workaround ensures that the match points are counted correctly, even when no scores are initially entered, and helps maintain accurate standings for the league.
