Fixing the "A DLL is Required" Error During Installation

If you see a message saying "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A DLL is required for this install to complete" while trying to install or update BLS-2025, it’s usually because your antivirus software (like McAfee) is stopping the installation.

Here’s how to fix it:
  1. Temporarily Disable McAfee Protection:
    • Open McAfee software.
    • Temporarily turn off real-time scanning and firewall protection.
  2. Install BLS-2025
    Try running the installation again. It should work now without the error.
  3. Turn Your Antivirus Back On
    Once the installation is done, don’t forget to turn your antivirus protection back on!
