How to Move a League from an Older BLS Version to BLS-2025 Using the Windows Desktop

If you want to transfer a league from BLS-2025, BLS-2023, BLS-2022, BLS-2021, BLS-2020, BLS-2019, or BLS-2018 to BLS-2025, follow these simple steps:

Close BLS if you have it open.
Open the older version of BLS you were using before BLS-2025.
Open the league you want to move to BLS-2025.
Backup the league:
- Go to Utilities > Backup League. A "Save File" dialog will pop up.
- Click DESKTOP in the left pane (or use the "Look in" dropdown at the top to select DESKTOP).
- Click Save.
Close the old version of BLS.
Open BLS-2025.
Restore the league:
- Go to Maintenance > Restore League.
- In the "Open File" dialog, click DESKTOP in the left pane (or use the "Look in" dropdown to find DESKTOP).
- Select the backup file you just created, then click Open.
A "Save" dialog will ask where to extract the league backup. Just click SELECT (or SAVE) without changing anything.
The league will be restored into BLS-2025.
Go to File > Open Any League. Your league will now appear in the list of leagues in BLS-2025.

And that's it! You’ve successfully moved your league to BLS-2025.
