Using Outlook.com for Email Sending

To configure your BLS software to send outgoing emails using Outlook.com, Hotmail, or Office365, follow these steps:
  1. Open BLS:
    • Go to File > Program Preferences > Internet.
  2. Change Email Settings:
    • Click on Change Internet Upload and E-Mail Settings.
    • Enter your Office365/Outlook.com/Live/Hotmail email address in the Office365 Email field.
    • Change the Special Mail Server option to Office365/Outlook.com.
  3. Sign In with Microsoft:
    • When you attempt to send an email, a browser window will open, prompting you to log into your Microsoft account.
    • Follow the prompts to grant permission for the program to access your Microsoft account (access is limited to sending emails only and does not involve accessing your email content).
  4. Complete Setup:
    • Close the email settings window. Your BLS software will now send emails through the Outlook.com, Hotmail, or Office365 server system.
  5. Revoke Access (if needed):
    • If you wish to revoke BLS-2023's access to your Microsoft account, change the Special Mail Server back to Normal.
This setup will ensure that your emails sent through BLS are properly routed using the Microsoft server system.
