Email Settings for Cox.net

To configure your BLS email settings for sending outgoing mail using a Cox.net email account, follow these instructions:

Email Settings for Cox.net:

  • SMTP Server: smtp.cox.net
  • Username: Your Cox.net username (without the @cox.net part)
  • Password: Your Cox.net email password
  • Use Advanced Settings to set SMTP Server Port: Yes
  • SMTP Server Port: 587 or 465
  • Email Server requires SSL and/or TLS Mode: Yes
  • SSL/TLS Start Mode: Automatic
Make sure to enter these settings correctly in your BLS program for proper email functionality.
