Why Are There Asterisks by a Bowler's Name?

If you see asterisks (******) next to a bowler's name, it indicates that the bowler needs to see the secretary. This is usually used when the secretary needs to discuss something specific with the bowler, often related to financial matters.

How to Indicate a Bowler Needs to See the Secretary:

  1. Using the Financials Screen:
    • When entering financials for each player, you can click the ‘See Me’ button to mark that the player needs to see the secretary.
  2. Using the Score Entry Screen:
    • In the Score Entry screen, below the ‘X Drop’ button in the Bowler Actions list, you’ll see a button labeled with an **‘! . This button is the ‘See Me’ equivalent for the Enter Weekly Fees screen.
    • Highlight the bowler first, then click the ‘See Me’ button. Two asterisks will appear next to the ID number in the Score Entry Screen and behind the bowler's name in the Financial Screen. On the Standing Sheet, the asterisks will appear in front of the bowler's name.

How to Remove the ‘See Me’ Indication:

  • To remove the asterisks, highlight the player and click the ‘See Me’ button again. The asterisks will disappear.

How to Show This Indication on the Standing Sheet:

  1. Preview and Print the Standing Sheet:
    • Click Preview and Print Standing Sheet > Print > Change Layout.
    • Go to the Layout tab at the bottom, then select Printing Options.
    • Change the toggle switch to Yes to indicate bowlers with pending notes.
These steps will help you manage and display the ‘See Me’ indications, ensuring that the necessary communication takes place.
