Keyboards not functioning in QAMF with certain leagues

Troubleshooting Keyboard Issues at Bowler Consoles in QubicaAMF Conqueror or Conqueror Pro

If the keyboards at the bowler consoles stop working for certain leagues, it might be because the league preferences in Conqueror or Conqueror Pro have been changed to disable the keyboards. Here’s how you can fix it:
  1. Access League Setup:
    • Go to the Conqueror Front Desk, select the league in question, and click on Setup.
  2. Enable the Keyboard:
    • Go to the Technical tab and click on Options.
    • Ensure that the Enable the Keyboard option is checked.
  3. Check League Size:
    • If the option is already checked, make sure the league doesn’t have more than 400 bowlers (including substitutes).
    • Permanently delete any unused VACANTs or bowlers who have no scores entered. For instructions on how to do this, refer to the "Removing Bowlers" section in the Knowledge Base.

Important Notes:

  • While CDE Software products have options to enable or disable the keyboard in the Automatic Scoring Export screens, this setting needs to be managed directly within the Conqueror Front Desk for it to take effect.
  • If you’re still having trouble or have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to your QubicaAMF Support Team for assistance.
This should help get those keyboards functioning again at the bowler consoles!
