How do I enter a maximum handicap for Vacant Scores?

Sometimes, a league might need to assign a different score and handicap for a Vacant player compared to an actual bowler. Here's how you can do it:
  1. Go to Open League:
    • Navigate to Setup > League > Rules.
  2. Adjust Vacant Player Settings:
    • Go to Vacant Players > Vacancy Score Rules.
    • Find the option "Use the 'Other' gender column's base and handicap information for Vacants" and set it to Yes.
    • Set the OTHER Vacancy score to whatever score you want for the Vacant position.
  3. Set Up Individual Handicaps:
    • Go to Individual Handicaps > Basic Individual Handicap Rules.
    • Set the OTHER handicap % to 100.
    • Set the OTHER handicap Base to the sum of the fixed handicap pins plus the handicap score. For example, if the Vacant player gets a fixed 45 pins for handicap and the handicap score is 160, then the BASE would be 160 + 45 = 205.
And that’s it! These steps will ensure your league handles Vacant scores just the way you want.
