To set up Automatic Scoring with TBRAC-2024, follow these instructions to ensure the program can interact with your front desk or scoring system server:
1. Open TBRAC-2024: Start the TBRAC-2024 program on your computer.
2. Access Automatic Scoring Settings:
- Click `Options` and then select `Automatic Scoring Settings`.
- Choose the `Scoring` tab.
3. Unlock Configuration Settings:
- Change the toggle at the top right of the screen from 'Locked' to 'Unlocked'. This action prompts you for a password.
- Enter the password `CDESOFTWARE` to unlock (this prevents accidental changes).
4. Configure Network Visibility:
- If TBRAC-2024 is not installed on the front desk computer, ensure that the computer where TBRAC is installed can connect to the front desk or scoring system server across the network. You might need to consult your scoring system manufacturer or a network specialist if you have questions about configuring your network.
5. Set Import and Export Paths:
- Enter the appropriate path for where TBRAC should export files to, and where the scoring system expects to find them, or use the browse button to locate the directory.
- Similarly, set the path for where TBRAC should import files from, according to where the scoring system places the scores, or use the browse button to select the directory.
- Depending on the scoring system setup, also set the path for the location of the Front Desk or Server. This can be done by entering it manually or using the browse icon.
6. Confirm Settings:
- Click `OK` to save your settings.
