Restoring a League from LeagueSecretary.com

Before restoring a league backup, it's essential to ensure that if the league currently exists, it must be deleted first.

To restore a league backup stored on LeagueSecretary.com from within BLS-2024, follow these steps:

1. Open BLS-2024.
2. Go to Maintenance > Recover > League from LeagueSecretary.com.
3. Follow the wizard to enter your username, password, and LeagueSecretary.com assigned league ID, then click Next.
4. By default, the wizard will prompt you to download the backup file to the backup directory. We recommend changing the directory to the DESKTOP by clicking the Browse button, selecting the DESKTOP, and clicking SELECT.
5. Click Next. BLS will download and save the file in the designated location. The backup file usually follows the naming convention: LeagueSecretaryDotCom_ID#####BackupAsOf##-##-##_##-##-##.
6. Go to Maintenance > Restore > League(s) to BLS-2024.
7. Locate the file downloaded in step 5, select it, and click SELECT BACKUP.
8. By default, the folder to restore the data will be the default leagues folder for BLS. We recommend not changing this. Click the SELECT button.
9. The league is now restored.
