"Class not registered" when printing USBC Awards or Membership cards

If this error occurs when attempting to print USBC Awards or Membership cards, there may have been a problem during the installation that prevented Windows from understanding how to handle a certain file.

Use one of the following methods to resolve this issue:

Method A

Download and install the current update for BTM-2013 available on our web site. If you receive the InstallShield Wizard Program Maintenance screen with the option to Modify, Repair or Remove, select Repair

 

Method B

1. Open Control Panel from the Start menu.

2. Select Programs and Features (Windows 7 & Windows Vista) or Add/Remove Programs (Windows XP).

3. From the list of installed programs, select BTM-2013.

4. Click Change or Repair.

5. When the InstallShield Wizard Program Maintenance screen opens with the option to Modify, Repair or Remove, select Repair

 

Method C

Note:  You must close the BTM-2013 program first.

 

Windows Vista and Windows 7 Installations

 Option 1

1. Close all programs.

2. Log into the Administrator's account if you have set up several user accounts 

3. Click the Vista Windows button

4. Click Computer.

5. Double-click Local Hard Disk Drive - Local Disk (C:)

6. Double-click the Program Files folder.


Note: For 64-bit Edition of Windows, double-click on the Program Files(x86) folder. 

7. Double-click the BLS2012 folder.

8. Right-click on the regwin32 file and select Run as administrator.


Note:  For 64-bit Edition of Windows, use the regwin64 file instead.

Option 2

1. Close all programs.

2. Log into the Administrator's account if you have set up several user accounts.

3. Click the Vista Windows button 

4. Click All Programs 

5. Click Accessories 

6. Right-Click on Command Prompt and select Run As Administrator 

7. For 32-bit editions of Windows Vista editions, enter the following:
  
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\CDE Software Shared\Sanctioning\sanc2010.dll" and press the enter key.
 
 For 64-bit editions of Windows Vista, enter
  
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\CDE Software Shared\Sanctioning\sanc2010.dll" and press the enter key. 

A window should appear that states DllRegisterServer in xceedzip50.dll succeeded.    If an error appears that the DLL could not be found, then check that you entered the command correctly. 

Close the Command Prompt window by typing Exit, launch the CDE program and see if the problem resolved.

 

XP or Windows 2003 Installations

Option 1

1. Close all programs.

2. Log into the Administrator's account if you have set up several user accounts 

3. Open 'My Computer'

4. Double-click Local Hard Disk Drive - Local Disk (C:)

5. Double-click the Program Files folder. 


Note: For 64-bit Edition of Windows, double-click on the Program Files(x86) folder. 

6. Double-click the BLS2012 folder.

7. Double-click on the regwin32 file.


Note: For 64-bit Edition of Windows, double-click the regwin64 file instead.

Option 2

1. Close all programs.

2. Log into the Administrator's account if you have set up several user accounts 

3. Click the Start button 

4. Click Run 

5. For 32-bit editions of Windows, enter the following:
  
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\CDE Software Shared\Sanctioning\sanc2010.dll" and press the OK key.
  
 For 64-bit editions of Windows, enter
  
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\CDE Software Shared\Sanctioning\sanc2010.dll" and press the OK key. 

A window should appear that states DllRegisterServer in xceedzip50.dll succeeded.    If an error appears that the DLL could not be found, then check that you entered the command correctly

 

Method D

1. Uninstall the BTM-2013 

2. Reboot the computer 

3. Log in as the Administrator (Windows 2000, XP, Vista or Windows 7) 

4. Reinstall the BTM-2013
