Allow teams that plays BYE team to have night off.

There are occasions where a league has 1 team more than the number of lanes available or where a league votes to allow a team that opposes a BYE team to take the night off.

To accommodate the schedule in this situation, do the following:
  1. Open league in BLS and go to Setup > League > Lane Assignments
  2. Click on the BYE button at the top and indicate you want the team that opposes the BYE team to be moved to the end pair.
  3. Indicate that the league bowls 2 shifts and have the first shift include all lanes except last 2. 
  4. Second shift should just have 2 teams.
  5. Close the lane assignments and go to Setup > League > Rules > BYE Teams
  6. Change the rule to say Teams bowling against a BYE team should not be awarded wins or losses.
  7. Go to the Team Points rules and select YES to the rule Standings are determined by percentage of Wins to Losses.
If you are using the AutoScoring edition, you would only worry about the 1st squad when exporting and using in the scoring system and ignore the 2nd squad.
