Using Gmail for Email Sending

  1. To send outgoing email with Gmail using the new Google Email System:
  2. Click File > Program Preferences > Internet
  3. Click Change Internet Upload and E-Mail Settings.
  4. Change your First Name and Last Name to be your name
  5. Change the Email address to your Gmail email address
  6. Change the Special Mail Server option to Gmail.
  7. Change the Gmail Address to your Gmail email address
  8. Click Sign in with Google
  9. A browser window will appear for you to log into your Google account
  10. Indicate that you allow the program use access your Google account (we only use the Send Email part of your account to send outgoing emails and do not/can not access your emails or content)
  11. Close the email settings and your emails sent to your bowlers will use the new Google server system.
To revoke access for BLS-2023 to use your Google account, change the Special Mail Server to Normal.
