Tournament Name is blacked out or prints out as a black box

If the tournament name at the top of reports is sometimes blacked out this is due to problems in the printer driver. Some printer drivers do not properly handle a gradient text field, which is an effect used by default on the tournament name in BTM.

To globally remove gradients from text regions produced for printouts, perform the following steps:

1.Open BTM-2013.

2.If a tournament is currently open then close the tournament file using the C) Open, Create NEW, Close  > 1: Close This tournament option.

3.Once at the opening menu, click on the A) Program Setup/Configuration > 3: Preferences and Program Setup.

4.Click on the Printing, Fonts & Graphics.

5.Select to Omit artistic text and effects.
