Thank you for your purchase of TBRAC-2018 AutoScoring. Here are instructions for Downloading, Installation and Registration.

DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS

The following are step by step instructions for downloading the software installer(s). Depending on the version of Windows installed on the computer and the Internet web browser used, there will be different options for downloading the software.

 

Download the TBRAC-2018 Program Installer using your web browser:
  1.  Open your Internet Web Browser and enter https://www.cdesoftware.com in the address bar. We suggest NOT using Internet Explorer as it is discontinued and is not up to date with the latest web technologies.
  2. Using the website menu, select DOWNLOAD > BRACKET SOFTWARE
  3. Select the TBRAC-2018 tab if it is not already selected.
  4. The first installer in the list is the TBRAC-2018 Software Installer. Click the DOWNLOAD button for that installer.
  5. If prompted for a location to save the program, select DESKTOP.  If a prompt did not appear asking where to save the download, then press CTRL-J on your keyboard to view the browser Downloads Manager. The file name of this installer is TBRAC2018INSTALLER.EXE. Wait until download has completed before continuing.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

The following are step by step instructions for installing the software using the installer(s) downloaded.

 

If installing TBRAC-2018 on the same computer the installers were downloaded:
  1. Locate the TBRAC2018INSTALLER.EXE file downloaded and double-click to begin installation. Note that if your Windows uses different user accounts, you must have Administrator privileges.
  2. Follow the step by step process provided by the installer.
If installing TBRAC-2018 on a different computer then from where the installers were downloaded:
  1. Copy the downloaded installers to a USB Flash Drive and take the drive to the computer where the program will be installed.
  2. Locate the TBRAC2018INSTALLER.EXE file on the flash drive and double-click to begin installation. Note that if your Windows uses different user accounts, you must have Administrator privileges.
  3. Follow the step by step process provided by the installer.

 


REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

The following are step by step instructions for registering the program.

 

If TBRAC-2018 is on the same computer where you have access to your email where the registration information is contained:
  1. Locate the email that contains the block of registration information. It will look something like:

     FIRST NAME: John

     REGISTERED TO: Individual
     LEAGUE NAME: (leave this space blank and do not enter any information)
     SCORING SYSTEM: Not an Automatic Scoring Version
     E-MAIL: john@doe.com
     ADDRESS: 123 Main St
     CITY: Any Town
     STATE: WA
     POSTAL CODE: 98765-4321
     COUNTRY: US
     REGISTRATION KEY: NMPRST-VAEES6A1-XC9XCG-7LKWMR-KETELA-FDW1W
     TEMP CODE:
     USE TEMPORARY CODE: NO

  2. Highlight the entire block of information from the starting dashes all the way down to the ending slashes. Using your keyboard, press CTRL-C to copy into memory.
  3. Open BTM-2019 by clicking on the program shortcut on the desktop.
  4. Click Register using Permanent Registration.
  5. Acknowledge the 2 or 3 prompts presented.
  6. Click the blue PASTE FROM CLIPBOARD button to paste the block of registration information.
  7. Click PROCESS Registration.
  8. The Registration should show as valid - Click the Update Registration and Finish button.
If TBRAC-2018 is not on the same computer where you have access to your email where the registration information is contained:
  1. Print the information from the email. The important information is the entire block of program registration shown, as an example, here:

  2. Open TBRAC-2018 by clicking on the program shortcut on the desktop.
  3. Click Register using Permanent Registration.
  4. Acknowledge the 2 or 3 prompts presented.
  5. Enter each piece of information from step 1 into each field. It does not matter if it is UPPER or lower Case.
    For example - Using the above information - First name must have John entered. It could by typed as JOHN or john or John or JOhn, etc.
    Where it says company, according to the example above, it must be left blank. If a company name was typed in, the program will not register.
    The email, address, city, state, postal code and country fields are the only fields that can be different.
  6. If all of the pieces of information have been entered correctly, then the registration should show as valid - Click the Update Registration and Finish button. If it does not, then one of the fields is not correctly filled out or set.
