Vacant bowler against bye team
Question asked by richard lutterman - August 20, 2015 at 6:46 AM
I don't feel the points are being calculated correctly (probably because I didn't set something up right.)  We use a Peterson system.  First night of bowling so the team is setting averages.
Team 1:
1.  Vacant
2.  201-132-191
3.  221-170-173
Team 2:  Bye
I would expect that player 1 (vacant) would win 1,3, series, but lose game 2 because team lost game 2.  player 2 would win 1, 3, and series.  player 3 would win 1 and series.  Team would win games 1,3 and series.  losing game 2.
What I'm seeing is that the vacancy on team 1 is not earning any points for the team regardless of how the team did.

Please include a version number of BLS-2016 (28.0x.##) in the event that a recent software update may be involved in an issue.
With your rules, at the left are several tabs, one of them reading "Vacant Players". Click on that and look at the section named "Individual Match Points for Vacants".
For the first item, you probably have that set to "No points are awarded...." You probably should use the option "If absent/vacant player wins, points go only to team winning the game."
You will also want to look under the "Absent Players" tab, which will have similar questions and answers under the section "Individual Match Points for Absentee".
