BLS-2017 PRO 29.04.03 under Windows 7. Match point league. Lineups to be low to high average with substitutes taking the place of the bowler without regard of sub's average.

Issue noted after two matches had team points disagreeing with paper recaps and legacy autoscoring system (AMF Advantage).

What was first noted was that in both matches, opposing bowlers both had stars indicating a point won, and another pair of opposing teammates in the same both no star/losses, and the total team points for the night off by one.

The fix was, in the scores entry screen, to click the Options button and select the check box "Position for each game". Then, in the matches in question, I found that the lineup numbers were off in both matches, for one team. Fixing them to their correct order was the solution. For one bowler, the out-of-sequence was only on game three.

While checking the rest of the league just in case, I found that another match in that league had an issue which didn't affect the team total points for the night and wasn't originally noticed, but the individual points were incorrect for both teams so that also has been corrected.

It is possible that a previous week's sub entry may have caused the erroneous flag for the bowlers in question, as in both cases, the bowlers were out the previous week and for one, out two weeks prior where a sub was used for game three, that being the same bowler with the game three anomaly mentioned above.

This thread was started as a help to other secretaries who might notice issues with lineups affecting individual or team points...this should serve as a workaround.

Of note: When making a change to lineup order, if a blind/vacancy score has been entered, the score needs to be deleted first, then the lineup position number changed, and then the blind/vacancy re-entered. Other types of scores (Injury, Pacer, X, Youth vacancy) can have lineup position number changed without having to delete the score.
