"Access Denied" error when updating programs
Access denied errors are caused by two things.
1. Firewall protection
2. Antivirus/Malware/Spyware protection
Often times your firewall and or anti-virus programs will update themselves, even when you haven't manually done an update. These updates can cause your firewall and antivirus program to not recognize our programs update.
When receiving an "Access denied" error, while trying to update the program, either your Firewall or antivirus program is blocking the update.
Generally what happens is that your Firewall and/or Antivirus program looks at the update and says 'wait - I want to take a closer look at it' and stops the update download.
You can do one or both of the following;
1. Open one or both, of your Antivirus program/Firewall program, and disable them while you do the update to the bowling software, the re-enable them when the download is complete.
2. While in the Antivirus program/Firewall program, add the bowling program to the 'allowed' list of programs that your antivirus will allow to work without stopping it.
