USBC recommends to sort league standings by percentage. The reason for this
is that it creates a fair playing field for those teams joining the season after
the start and unable to make up games not bowled. In a league which all the
teams have bowled the same number of games, sorting the standings by percentage
nets the same results of sorting the standings based on wins and losses.
It is also recommended to sort high match points the same way.
These settings for sorting the standings for teams and high match points are
in the rules for the league.
Team Standings can be sorted by
percentage using the following steps:
·Go
to D) Defining Your League > 1: Rules >
Team Points.
·Toggle
the switch for "Standings are determined by percentage of wins to losses rather
than absolute points" to Yes.
Note: It is suggested to make sure
that the style used for TEAM STANDINGS on the standing sheet include the %WON
style item, otherwise the standings may appear out of order.
Match points can be sorted by
percentage using the following steps:
·Go
to D) Defining Your League > 1: Rules >
Individual Points.
·Under
Non-Standard Match Points, toggle the
switch for "Determine match point standings by percentage of wins to losses or
absolute points:" to Percentage.
Note: It is suggested to make sure
that the style used for MATCH POINT LIST OF BOWLERS on the standing sheet
include the %WON style item, otherwise the standings may appear out of
order.
