Configuring A/S Settings for Conqueror

When you first install the automatic scoring edition of the program, the appropriate Conqueror computer computer must be made visible to the program, as well as the import and export directories must be established.
 
To set up Automatic Scoring, do the following:
  1. Start QubicaAMF Conqueror on the Front Desk computer
  2. Navigate to Setup > Center Setup > System and make note of what the "BLS and BTM File Export Path" is configured for.
  3. Open the CDE Software program
  4. Click Options > Automatic Scoring Setup
  5. Click Scoring
  6. Unlock the screen using the LOCK icon on the toolbar. The password is CDESOFTWARE (the reason is to prevent accidental setting)
  7. In the #2 "Export Directory" setting, enter the path from Step 2.  While UPPER/lower case does not matter, everything else much match identically.
  8. In the #3 "Import Directory" setting, enter the path from Step 2.  While UPPER/lower case does not matter, everything else much match identically.
  9. In the #4 "Scoring Directory" setting, it may take several tries to configure depending on how the Conqueror system was configured. Examples could be:
    1. Same as Step 2, leaving off the \SECY portion
    2. Using the Computer name or IP address in Step 2 and adding \C$.   Example:   \\192.168.1.1\C$
    3. Using the same as above be leaving the $ off.  Example: \\192.168.1.1\C
    4. Using just C:\ if the CDE program is on the front desk.
    5. Using \\FRONTDESK1\C
    6. Using \\FRONTDESK1\C$
    7. Using \\FRONTDESK\C
    8. Using \\FRONT_DESK\C
    9. Using \\QSERVER\C
    10. If the front desk was renamed to something non-standard from QubicaAMF's setup, you will need to use that computer name
  10. Set #5 "Scoring Revision" to the appropriate #.
    1. Conqueror Pro version 3 or higher, set to 4
    2. Conqueror version 2.06 or higher, set to 4.
    3. Conqueror versions less than 2.06 set to 3.
  11. Click OK.
